It is critical that farm businesses have a regular review. The review will monitor the farm's enterprises, the cash flow and profit forecast, the method of farming or use of contractors and check that the business is meeting the client's expectations.
We set up and run Farm Management agreements and contracting agreements but we are starting to find that unless the farm can produce high yields then the agreement does not work well both both parties.We believe that many agreements currently involving sugar beet will not deliver the required results under the new sugar reforms. In this case a more individual management agreement is required.
